Have the kids grab there is at this moment to make plates of scrap wood wheels and trucks to replace it with a block of wood so they can learn some tricks flip. This year looks like the time the answer would be Yes finally!
The London Evening Standard reported that, "the International Olympic Committee officials held talks with skateboard in Switzerland this week to agree a timetable for the inclusion of sport." Now, there's a lot of suspicious talk in that sense ... "skateboard officials"? Why are they in Switzerland? And, is now a "sport" skateboarding?!
But all that aside, it seems that the odds are very good to take for skateboarding on this year. That is flat out crazy, given that rugby, golf and baseball not! Hey, I'm fine with it – skateboarding could use some love, and this is a great way to (read more about the drama of getting into the Olympic skateboarding) to get.
The type of skateboarding that is vert, who thinks about including them is also interesting. I mean, it makes a lot of sense-vert is pretty spectacular, and easier to score than complicated Street runs. It looks great on TV. It is impressive. Vert has, however, are teetering on the brink of irrelevance for some time. Back in 2008, the "X Games was actually dropping vert > until there was a huge pro skater revolt! And now, perhaps the first form of skateboarding to be a legitimate Olympic sport, get a haircut and move out of the basement.
So, what do you think about all this? Is this good for skateboarding? Should it happen? Vert is the best choice? And finally, do you think we're going to see skateboarding in the 2012 Olympics?
It seems magic-just a hop, and the Executive Board remains glued to the bottom of the skater's feet! Rodney Mullen does this all the time in his skateboarding videos, and it looks like the easiest thing in the world.
So, how does it work?
Well, the trick is usually in the front foot, and while it might look easy, you should see your Ollie mastered before you try insulting of gravity. Gravity can be a jerk of an enemy! So, first learn how to ollie, Ollie skaters can then read without slapping their tails on the ground?
Stogianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05669986717740454269noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5673324902696358554.post-11956663361892323462012-03-19T02:02:00.002-07:002012-03-19T02:07:19.752-07:00New Guards protect your laces of you
Slays skateboarding shoe laces. It simply does. It also kills your shoes, your deck, the town of uprisings and terrorism. But today, I'm talking ' bout laces!
A technical trick you do implies you sliding the side of your shoe-Office of the Council, and times from bits of shoe laces with your deck of sandpapery grip tape. This is a huge problem, and solutions are limited! You can mess about the affected area with Shoe-Goo, you can tie the laces on and re-if they break, you can try duct tape (which doesn't work so well), or you can simply replace your laces over and over again. Check out the what should you do about torn laces FAQ for more ideas.
I just came across another possible solution-Flauge ELTZ. These are small plastic-ish clip-things around the lower part of your laces, to help protect them against getting carried away align. They look cool and come in 4 colors, and are cheap ($ 5 a set). Some skate shoes come with an additional valve which do the same, but many non-and even with those who do, often flap comes ground road. Take a look at the and see what you think, Flauge website, post a comment below!
Stogianhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05669986717740454269noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5673324902696358554.post-18873093861675698222012-03-19T02:00:00.001-07:002012-03-19T02:07:52.138-07:00Sk8 Wars urban battles AM Tour will start in LA this Weekend
The first "SK8 wars urban battles AM Tour" will be at the L.A.
